Default West Coast Focus Challenge - Buttonwillow January 14th

Hey Everyone,

Now that we have our 2006 Schedule almost completed I wanted to let everyone know that we have decided to schedule the first West Coast Focus Challenge for Saturday, January 14th 2006 at Buttonwillow Raceway just outside of Bakersfield, CA.

The price for the day will be $165/car. This includes Free Transponder Rental ($25 value) and the one dedicated Focus Challenge Session (in addition to the normal 2+ hours of track time).

If you are already registered at FocusChallenge.com, please make sure to visit the site again and update your vehicle modifications list so we have an accurate handicap to work with for the event.

http://www.focuschallenge.com/login.asp

If you have never registered at FocusChallenge.com you must do so before you can participate in a Focus Challenge event. Please follow these steps to register at the site:

1. Visit: http://www.focuschallenge.com/challenge.asp
2:Once you have completed registration, return to www.FocusChallenge.com and click the "Login" link along the top of the page
3.After successful login, the "Login" link will change to "Challenge".....click "Challenge"
4.Click on each of the individual sections in the left column (Car, Engine, Suspension, Tires, etc) and select the modifications you have performed.
5. You should also take the time to update/create your profile by clicking on the "my profile" link on the top right of the "Challenge" page.

I will be adding a link in this thread that will allow you to pay for the event entry fee. All payments will be directly through Redline Track Events as opposed to the Focus Challenge website. So please do not register for the event and pay for the event at FocusChallenge.com

If you have any questions for us, please post them here or email me directly at Nikolas@RedlineTrackEvents.com

Wow, I believe I met him as well. Although he was pitted down the way from the trailer. I told him about the jet and suggested he join.

Way to go Todd! ZX3 right?

See if you can get a few of the old schoolers. I'll talk to the guys that have been out with the BDX lately.

Good shot at getting 15 to 20 cars

Great know that you are coming down Omni should be fun, if we can get enough guys from Nor-cal we should challange the guys from so-cal to an overall time challange matching 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 or any even number matching any even number total time of the fastest lap. I will throw in the a trophy we can call the Battle of California.
Any one interested.

I am soooooo hosed with my handicap, but I'll be there! I need to sort out by brakes. After many bleeds and a new master cyl., they are still spongy.

We're set to fix part of the handicap system Chris. If you havent already visited the forum, head over to the Focus Challenge HQ section of the boards... ;-)

Yeah, the Focus Challenge HQ section has limited access for now. The team who has contributed in the past to organizing/helping the FC has access at this time. We will open a public section of the Focus Challenge HQ in early 2006, but still have the "admin" section for series leadership discussions.

Heh, me too.

I guess I got credit for trying to be the "handy helper guy" 3x more often than actually driving.

I'm still here to help, let me know what I can do.
