LSD would really help you. At that track (opinion) its prob almost worth as much as the blower.

QFT: It can also make the track and other cars change colors...... No wait... wrong LSD.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Our cars could easily have seen benefits from an LSD in stock form even...

Totally agree as it changes how you can drive the car.

:blushing: Thanks. ![]() That was my first track event with the TBD (torque biasing diff), and I still don't really feel like I know exactly how much it can affect my performance. It'll be clearer the more time I spend on the track with it for sure. |

Just be sure you did good in an event where every little bit counts.

You guys ever seen the Speed Channel tv show "Street Tuner Challenge"? I just watched the show where they test the three entries in a road course challenge, and guess what track they were at: Willow Springs!
Yeah so anyway, these were heavily modified cars being driven by pro or semi-pro drivers and their fastest lap times were as follows: Mustang = 133:??, Honda Fit = 135:??, and VW GTI=139:??. Sorry about not remembering the exact times, but my point stands...without using any handicap adjusted times, several of us were as fast or faster! Watching that made me feel really good about my performance in a stock motor SVTF that day for sure. |

I coached the Mustang at that event. Also the Honda a little, Honda driver is a 3 time national kart champ, very cool guy
The VW was in reality the best car, but the driver (a tester from a spring company) blew it, we have in all on GPS data capture. Not sure if any focus ran a 1:33 there. I ran a 1:33 in the white BDX car, its was pretty hot both that day and the day they shot the show (three days after the FC)

Chris and the FS car both ran 131:??'s They would probably be on par with the Street Tuner cars as far as handicaps go, and they were both two seconds faster than the fastest ST car.

Ya the GTI was really well prepared! The Ford not so, and the Honda had some programming problems but was prepared by Skunk2

1:39 though? I think most of us can do that in a rental now.

I think I've run just 5 seconds slower than that, in my own car, stock...... And I hardly know what I'm doing...
![]() That GTI was robbed of it's chance. ![]()

Not defending the GTI, the driver was an ass and cost the victory. Cars were restricted to street BFG rubber
