I love having people in the passenger seat for a few laps, and I'll have an extra helmet.

At SVTOA they will not let use M rated helmets they have to have a snell rating so be aware of this.

There are helmet rentals at the track for about $10.

This event may be the unvailing of the new improved slidemaster track ride. Looks like there will be a very serious test going on at the same time. Not only of my car but some components for a performace magazine.

Scottish

Then my extra helmet won't fly, I only have one SA helmet.

BDX has one extra Simpson in Med size, or the track rents helmets at $10

I very much doubt that we will be removing helmets at pregrid. However at vehicle impection at the beginning of the day have a SA

The last time SVTOA put on a deal, there were absolutely no passenger ride alongs. Will it be the same this time?

I called up asking about passengers and the guy on the other end said there was an incident that occurred at some other track a while ago were they did let ppl take passengers. But some guy and in WRX or something got cocky, showed off to his GF and lost control. He went off the track, back across it and hit the only wall the track had. The guy I was talking to was an instructor and was at the track this incident occurred. So seems logical to me…and that passengers wont be allowed at this event either.

Ya I remember that deal with Speedtrail USA, guy had an open face helmet, Schroth harness that was not tight, and was driving over his head.

Rides with instructors are allowed

Sure, I will be doing some work for a tire test for Modified Mustang. But as long as there are no suprises the 1988 should be there I would make an effort to get you a few laps. Also Scott laird will be there (If he has a passenger seat)

Todd, it seems like a REAL long time since we have seen you twist the wheel. NO way to play at the event?

I doubt that the intercooler will be available to be installed.... and even as such... a lot of engine work needs to be done before I can safely track it.

But the return in '07 shall be emminent! I will rise again! (but prolly not in the spec focus like planned )

Well good luck with that, miss the old school guys going at it. Would love to see how the Davids and the Todds run with the newer guys.
