Angry Re: FC At Buttonwillow Questions

I just dyno'd my car, and I found another handicap. 108 freakin horsepower and 114 torque. Talk about depressed!! This was in near stock form with a Borla cat-back and a K&N panel filter only. Okay guys, I hear you laughing. Stop it!!

Automatic dynos, unless you've been flashed with a transmission gear lock, are hardly reliable in terms of numbers. cuz they're gonna tend to slip and throw off readings.

I wouldnt' worry about it... you're a strong runner...!

Todds right! I suspect the function is better than the measurement. I seem to drive right by Mustangs all the time that have Dynos in the 500 range on the track

Ouch...I can't dog that though. I was just thinking about what my bone stock SVTF would put down. I'd be lucky to see 150 whp I bet...and I spent $21,000 for my car.

Im going to make a point of it to attend this event on Sunday and maybe even run my car for the hell of it. I'll be in Vegas the entire week before, so we'll see what my wife Jenn says about this, but I think I can make it a fun family track outing for a few hours on Sunday.

So We'll have our chief of timing and scoring running the timing system and I'll be there to make sure everything runs as it should.

Should we register through motorsportreg.com or will Redline do it direct?

Will your Mustang be back together Allan? Saturday is definitely out for me, I'm pushing to make it on Sunday.

I would have said no a week ago. But help has come from Maximum motorsports, and with luck will be there and very quick. No paint, but mechanically there, I will be working for Modified Mustang over that period. Mostly I will be in a 2006 BDX Mustang testing performance tires
