Just a word to the guys that do the track thing, adjustablility is everything out there. With the new set up on the mustang (brakes, KW dampeners, tires, wheels, ride height and alignment)....we were actually slower in the Morning Saturday, but with adjustable KW V3s and bias and height adjustment made up about 4 seconds by 2nd session saturday.

^^ What about that sweet adjustment I made to the rear wing? I bet that took at LEAST 3 seconds off!

Yeah....ummm....DAMN! That car was fun! It really needs more tire and suspension to be fit for track use, but it was stock except for the blower. I would not recommend the kit to someone who has a young kid driving the car. It requires some restraint and control. It was harder to throttle steer than a N/A car due to awesome throttle response and stock tires. I forget who was under the passenger helmet at the time, but we tried it in a few corners and wound up with a poor exit line....but LOTS of smiles! Thanks to Mark for the keys! I owe you one for sure.

well it did help, especially in the sweeper...your official crew! Wish we had the GPS data on the car because I am fairly sure we ran close to 2 flat

Does anybody know if the times throughout the day are going to be posted online somewhere, and if so, where? I forgot to go check my times at the end of the day.

That passenger helmet was me...and it was SWEET! Crazy acceleration and throttle response, made further crazy by those stocker tires!

Chris from Redline told me that he would post them on their website in a couple of days. Let's hope he makes good on that...

They should get updated on the MyLaps.com website.... I'll ask Nik and Chris to see if and when they'll be uploaded.

Update on my car: Clutch fragged and a segment was stuck between the disc and the pressure plate. That's why it would not dis-engage.

I love posts that casually describe the fact that you found that your clutch was "fragged" and "stuck" and "un-dis-engageable," as some simple find. Changing out a clutch sucks...especially on a garage floor...but no worries..."Yep, got her in."

Glad to hear she's back up Chris.

Yeah, it does suck, but it's getting easier after like the 10th one. New dyno today at 247 whp and 193 Tq with the curve looking like a cliff.

Dude....Sweet!

If it looks like a cliff I guess you'll just have to stay at Redline right?!

Way to go Slide! That's stellar news for sure. You guys definitely deserve it...there was a lot of hard work coming out of your pit area, and it was apparent on the track.

Thanks,

The one thing I came away with is that the S197 chassis is so good. The leather, 500 watt, 3500lb white car ran within 2.6 seconds of the gray fox gutted full track car. Man I would love to have a new one to build.

Big thanks for the work that Scottys "Haggis racing" put in!! We did some early adjusting then quit to allow for accurate reporting of the tire performance and the demonstration of what we as a group can show for the media. I also had to show to them my abilities, that I could do what I had stated
