to get that stuff off all you have to do is put a heatgun to it and then take some floss and take the plastic off, then heat the black glue stuff a little bit and just rub it off, and at the end to make it look good, rub a little gasoline on a towel and rub it where the plastic was.

just heat it up with a hairdryer, slip some fishing string behind it and use goo gone to remove anything left over.

I was able to pick off the dealer lettering on my new car, just need to go clean it up with some isopropyl alcohol in a little bit.

Avon Skin-So-Soft on a cottonball removes any glue from any surface, and won't hurt the paint a bit.

Metal razor and bumper sticker remover... took me about 15 minutes with no heat gun. Go slow and you will be fine

Just did mine. 30 degree weather and my thumbnail. Instead of being one big decal, my dealer decided to go with a lot of little lines. Took roughly ten minutes, but the rear is much more clean. Thanks for the inspiration fellas!

I had a bumper sticker on my Focus (sticker from the 2008 election I had put on myself) that I wanted to remove -- I sprayed it with WD-40 2 or 3 times and was able to peel it up easily!

Plastic razor blades work best/safest for the finish, they dont scratch paint...its what most detailers/stealerships use. http://www.scraperite.com/

wait till it's nice and hot outside, then take a piece of dental floss, waxed works better and use it to cut that crap off your car. worst thing that can happen is the dental floss breaks, in which case go at it with a new piece, using a sawing motion can help if the adhesive is being stubborn. you can also spray some bug and tar remover on the top edge and let it soak in a bit to aid the removal.

We did it and it was super fast

Blow it with a hair dryer (we used a professional one), and just peeled it off with fingers.
and then used goof off or whatever to get the rest off.

Used a combination of goo-gone, fingernail/fishing line and then once off, I cleaned it real good and then waxed it. Makes your car look a lot better when debadged!

Just debadged my ZX5 today! I think it turned out pretty damn nice...I used a letter opener (very carefully) to pull of the letters, then used a multi-purpose goo remover called De-solv-it. Then I just washed/waxed it and it turned out great! Pics below
