If you don't have tint on the interior of the windows, you might try getting some fine steel wool, dip it in a mixture of vinegar/rubbing alcohol/water, then scrub the surface of the glass followed immediately by drying with a terry towel, paper towel, newspaper, etc. That should help remove any contaminants from the glass (such as wax residue and bug guts from the exterior and the plastic gassing by-products on the interior.

I mostly use the Stoner Invisible Glass but I also really used to like the ClearVue brand glass cleaner before Turtle Wax bought them out and it became harder to find in my area. My dad does a lot of professional glass work and the stuff at Wal-Mart being mentioned (can't think of the name) also works decent. The same home brew mix above also cleans pretty well.

If you're using one of the aerosol type cleaners or any other for that matter, be careful about using them when the glass is hot. They tend to burn off and leave residue even when it seems still damp. That's why I usually clean mine in the early evening (as long as it's not humid out). Spray on the cleaner pretty heavy, scrub with some paper towels or newspaper, then go over it one more time and scrub/polish the glass with paper towels or a soft cloth.

I have never had a problem with Stoners, but Sprayway works well too.

Buffing the window with a microfiber towel after using ANY of the gass cleaner products, has always worked for me. Leves everythin streak free...
