Default Kimchee

I bought a fresh gallon jar of kimchee from the local international market the other day. I forgot to burp it before I put it into the car and on the way home it tipped over and because of the over pressure in the jar it dripped kimchee juice onto the spare tire cover in my trunk. I've tried Febreeze and Lysol and I've scrubbed it several times but for the last few mornings the kimchee has kicked me in the face every time I get into the car. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I going to have to burn out my trunk or what?

LOL.

Have you tried Woolite? It's for animal odors and such. Kind of leaves its own after-odor, but I imagine it's better than kimchee. I used Woolite when I left my sunroof open during a storm.

My grandmother on my mother's side is Korean. I grew up on all sorts of kimchee. The starter for a new batch I was going to make got thrown out so I was forced to buy a fresh, delicious effervescent gallon of wonderful but unfortuantely leaky lettuce kimchee. A nice thing though was running into the 86 year old Korean lady at the market who makes the stuff they sell. She gave me a free tub of radish kimchee that just came out of the ground. Talk about phenomenal...

I'll try the Woolite this weekend. I'm gonna pull the trunk floor/spare cover all the way out, scrub it with Woolite, hit it with the garden hose, dry it then hit it with Febreeze again. If that fails it's diesel and a match then a call to Steve at Tousley for a new floor/lid thing.

THIS.

Renuzit Car.

Me and a friend were pretty wasted one night, and smoked 2 cigars in my car (the car was parked... we lived in the dorms and couldn't smoke inside and it was cold).

My car wreaked of death. I tried about 4 different products before I got to Renuzit Car.

It will KILLLL the smell. It's amazing.

Hell, I've even used it around my house. It kills all bad smells. Forever.

Woolite FTMFW!!!

Okay, I knew I had Woolite and that I didn't have Renuzit so I tried the Woolite first. I mixed half a cap full into a spray bottle full of warm water and misted down the kimchee disatser zone pretty heavily. That was Saturday morning and the car sat all day and all night. Sunday morning, funk gone, odd yet pleasant Woolite smell instead.
