Did you come up with anything about making it lower?

H&R has listed in their latest catalog and for the 2008 - up Focus the Sport spring set, part# 51662 which will lower the car 1.5 inches front and 1.3 inches rear.

H&R also lists for the 2008 - up Focus the Street Performance Coil Over package, part# 51669 with a range of lowering from stock height 1.2 - 2.5 inches front/1.0 - 2.2 inches rear.

i asked sam that jason,

i asked him about suspension, and he told me how hard it is to lower cars(i guess insurance and other legal crap)

but i asked him why cant you just go the route of the svtf, adding
SVT all disc brakes and SVTF suspension

he told me that he had about 30 people this week ask/tell him that so im sure he will talk to tthe big wigs about it

I am really starting to like the coupe! It does need to be lowered but that will be possible power adders will be available very soon if not already! I think FJ is ready for a storm of 08/09 owners...I am going to be one of them!

You have to meet bumper safty standards is why the suspension is at the height its at.

Well seeing what FocusSport did with the STC car I think they need to do a FS edition Focus. Lower and more powerfull with opitional paint and interior options.

Thanks to Ford and Focus Sport for putting on this great event. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. We didn't really talk to too many people (we're kind of shy). It was nice meeting Z63R, and seeing everyone else. I was the guy in the brown shirt and my wife was the mexican girl with curly hair.

My wife liked the car, her only complaint was the rearend. There was just something about the rearend that she didn't like at all. I liked the car, I just wish it had more power.

Yeah my girlfriend and I really loved the 09 coupe. She's actually thinking about getting one, which would kinda suck since hers would look cooler than my 08 coupe . It's cool i guess... maybe I can trade mine in and get an 09? But then the 2010 model will come out and I will be saying the same thing again, HAHA. It never ends. Well, for now I'm very happy with what I have.... Till the 09 parts go on sale.

Still not liking the look of the 09. The front bumper looks a bit better, but overall a guy in one weekend can get similar results with a rattle can on an 08.

That would be quite the drive from Coalinga, which is 3.5 hours away. But we will be at FOTB
