Default Lower Front Stress Bars

I, along with others I'm sure, would like to know more about this product.
Any pictures with it installed?

Are new bolts included or do we need to pickup a pair of the torque-to-yield bolts from Ford to install this?

Do these actually do anything for the handling of our cars? Someone told me they don't do jack on the focus. If anyone has ever used a similar bar in the focus, please leave us your comments!

I just picked up a Focus Tuning bar I am installing shortly.

I've heard they actually help, and take place of the upper bar. And since I can't run a upper stress bar, I figured this would be a good alternative.

I'll post up some pics when I get mine. And let you all know what I think, but I'm sure it will be fantastic since it has the focus-sport name!

and i agree .. but after the rear stress bar .. i didnt see a difference. but thats just me. other cars in the rear work like our cars in the front ... as far as having a stress/strut bar

New bolts are not included but you can reuse the factory bolts a few times before there bad. The factory bolts are designed to stretch which end up giving about 125-170ft lbs of torque.

We recommend retorqing the bolts to 120ft lbs without stretching them again.
If you want to purchase new bolts from the dealer there $5.14 each PART#W706861S439

Thanks,
Vik

The bar will stiffen the front subframe in between the two A-arms which have the highest load during cornering. The better suspension, tires, handling you have the more load there is transfered to this point. Any flex in this point will cause the alignment to change which is undesirable. This bar will eliminate this issue.

No, there is a sequence required with new bolts for proper torqing.

New bolts...
89ft lbs + 90 degree turn

Thanks,
Vik

Why? there is no place to tie anything together under the rear that would actually do anything.
