You can do it yourself if you can follow directions. It's a pretty easy install. I did mine in like three nights at maybe 3 or 4 hours a night.
BTW...You won't be disappointed.

no and yeah..

you have pics and explanations that come on a disc with the kit..

pretty simple. and if you have any questions, you can post them online and people are quick to answer..

Vik's rate for the turbo install is very reasonable, especially considering the expertise you're getting.

The hard part for me was getting the turbo manifold to squeeze between the firewall and engine. It is a pretty tight fit even with the engine rocked forward, but it does fit if you take your time to work it in.
I was pretty overwhelmed when I opened the boxes and seen all the parts, but after I started, my confidence built with every part that I put on.
Before my turbo install, I had only done a CAI and exhaust on my Focus. My other experience included changing oil, rotating tires, and changing spark plugs. I am not very mechanically inclined at all, so I'd say that if I could do it by myself, anyone can do it.
Great group of guys/gals here to help you out when you run into problems. I had to call bryst06 a couple of times on his cell phone and he walked me through a couple of things. Thanks bryst06!

just a tip for anyone else that is doing the install, remove the vacuum stuff off the firewall, makes for a much easier time. If I could get my manifold and larger turbo back there, well
