Default JRSC FAQ

The Jackson Racing Supercharger (JRSC) is based on the Eaton model M45 (Zx3 model) or M62 (SVT model) roots-type (fixed displacement) supercharger. Several FJ sponsors sell the JRSC for about $2,500-$2,700 (SVT model is more expensive). Used JRSC units can be had for $1,800 or less and are occassionally seen in the classifieds and on ebay.

The JRSC is a complete FI setup, including fuel solution, belt, pulley, supercharger, and detailed installation instructions. A typical JRSC out of the box will yield around 145whp, and provide 3-5psi boost (zx3 model). Upgrades will allow boost to about 10-12psi. Substantial modifications will enable the JRSC to boost to about 14psi or possibly higher. The major limitation of the JRSC is its lack of intercooling. Adding an intercooler is not possible without substantial custom fabrication.
