I started with removing the two reservoirs located on the right side of the engine bay (coolant and power steering). This has to be done in order to access the alternator and brackets.
Once the alternator was out of the way, the bracket is taken off as well.
The oil filter needs to be relocated to make room for the blower, so the supplied adapter plate and lines are installed.
The lower mounting plate is installed on the block.
Pretty much the only fabrication that has to be done is the grinding of two humps on the bracket, no biggie.
The stock tensioner is also replaced and a supplied bracket is installed onto the old alternator bracket.
The IAC solenoid is swapped over, the other lower mounting bolt is placed, and the supplied vacuum lines are installed onto the blower housing. Once that is done, I dropped the blower into place. At this point, nothing is tight, just prepped and awaiting the head install in the morning. Everything is supplied in this kit, even the connectors on the vacuum lines are factory type, no surprises at this point.
I had to leave half the day today to take care of some business, otherwise most of the kit would have been done. I'll try to post some more pics tomorrow as the day goes on.
