nice mike illhave to pick that up do u plan to do anything new to the car

hmm i see in the mag u guys broke the 1st motor what went wrong i know thats alot of power for almost all stock stuff

I want to convert it to e85. Don't know when. probably as soon as I change the engine managment. We're actually planning on running my father's turbo lightning on straight propane or another alternative fuel. That's all the future so why not start now. I'm definetely excited about this article. It felt like it took forever to come out. We shot this car the same day as my buddies twin turbo, 1500hp red viper, that came out in TURBO a few months ago. thanks.

The original HKS motor was o-ringed . The arias pistons were tapping the head under high stress. This caused the wrist pin keepers to pop off one by one. One night before goin to the track. I strapped it to our dyno to check out everything because of the light smoking out of the breather box. then bang, the #2 pin rubbed a hole through the cylinder wall. It could have been that the eagle rods were stretching, pistons were machined wrong, or the block being decked, threw something off.

Probe pistons, eagle rods. Those pistons use stock SVT rings. Really I'm waiting for something to break because there are a lot of better parts out there.

can we get hi res scans??? looks like alot of innovative stuff for the turbo setup.... look at the valve cover breather... look where the coil usually goes is that part of the coolant setup?
