Default Ready to go turbo!

Already bought a t25/t28 turbo w/ internal wastegate and flanges for $330 from eBay, I assume this turbo will be good for the set up I will be using (since I'm not going for anything too serious). Today I'm looking to order the intercooler, 42lb injectors and a couple of more things I will need. I'm going to start out at 8psi for about a month or so to see how the car drives, but My goal is to reach around 220-240whp at around 12psi safely. I will keep everyone inform on my build, feel free for suggestions!!!

Things I need to order so far (more than likely this week)

intercooler
2.5" intercooler pipes w/ couplers and clamps
B.O.V
turbo gauge
42lb injectors
oil lines
air filter
custom manifold (using stock first then my shorty race headers)
and a couple of more things

Was this one of the ebay special ****ty turbos that'll grenade itself in a couple hundred miles, or a slightly used one with minimal shaft play? Just giving you a hard time but if it's the former it'll take a crap shortly and if it's the latter you might want to reinvest in a rebuild kit before you put it on the car.

Sounds like you have a decent start there but you're still missing the big ticket items--Wideband O2 sensor and SCT flasher w/pro-racer software (or a tune from someone). Either way that's a grand right there.

I already have a aem wideband gauge in my car, and I already have the sct xcal 2 flasher. and the pro racer software I am ordering soon as well...and yes it is a ebay turbo like I said and its brand new. I know it isn't the best but it isn't the worse either. and I'm not going to be putting a lot of pressure to the turbo.

It's always better to purchase good quality stuff the first time rather than replacing inferior products after they go boom...........and hopefully nothing else is damaged in the process.

^X a million. Hopefully that turbo works for you but my guess is it wont work for a very long time.
Post back here if anything goes bad...or the way you hoped. Good luck
