I want to see what the highest HP for a PWSC is so far. I am supposed to get my car together shortly and want to see what I can prolly get out of it. Any dyno charts would be helpful.

Don't see how it's going to help you as your car is unique.
...and all dynos are different, even the same dyno, same car on a different day will be off. I'd say get a base after install and start to try and improve what you have if that's what you are after. I have no dyno charts to share and could not care any less about numbers. Out on the track tells me all I need to know.

ya I went there before I posted but there are lots of old dynos without the massive pulley, higher CR etc. I just want to see what the max ppl are actually getting. I would like to be at the 300whp area but want to see if anyone or how many are there.

Aiden, iirc, it's something like 285fwhp & 230lb/ft but done wrong!
![]() Quote:
umm, if the dyno is in good condition and the operator knows what they are doing, the numbers should be within 2-5% no matter what. numbers beyond that are usually a sign of a questionable dyno or poor operator. I think All that Aiden is after is a number to shoot for... regardless of what YOU think, it is a pretty cool thing to have the bragging rights as the highest powered _____________. Besides, having 5000hp and only running 12s isn't impressive where as running 12s with sub 300hp is very impressive.... so that "out on the track tells you all you need to know" really tells you nothing and means jack in the real world. numbers matter, PERIOD! ![]() if that sort of thing didn't matter, i'm sure you'd be rolling in your stock focus to pick up groceries at the local store and not much else... posting accomplishments on an internet forum or modifying your car for more power or better handling is just CRAZY!

well aiden wait for me to go to the dyno and you will have your number.... yeap , I m kidding ...
lets say 27x from jamal 28x from focuskid but sincerely I can't follow the numbers since both me and stfun are missing about 40 crank compared to those US still with almost identical setups ![]()

Mitch thanks for the backup, I just want a number to shoot for. geostef thanks for the info, I will have to look up what focuskid and jamal have done. I am trying to get my blower ported and polished around here and none of the good shops want to do it
. I wonder how much that will actually do?

I forget how hung up people are on dyno numbers.
Sorry, didn't mean to piss on your parade. I'm going back to my World, where Cobras,BMWs and even Sti's have had to point me by. ..and to think I don't have any idea how much HP I have. I'd say a few more than stock is about right. The dyno is a great tuning tool.

just want to know where I could be. When you have to do this much work it is nice to be able to know/guess how much you are actually benefitting from it.

lol, with power like that, it could only be a honda with a BIG turbo on it... a PW kit even without a 150shot would still have 140+lb/ft from just off idle.

if the casing was done a little differently, i.e. the elbow on the blower, it could flow much much better. However, I'd say its probably right at 300, regardless of the method.
If I had to build again, I'd do forged internals, FRPP head, zx3tuning's cams, massive's 3" intake and 2nd step up pulley. FC throttle body. SVT header with the flange cut off, feeding into 3" pipe all the way back. Plus a full port/polish of the blower casing and a heat exchanger from a terminator. effecient and bullet-proof.

I have most of what you said but not all. The blower just got polished, man there is a ton you can do in there.
