i have a 2001 zx3 and currently building the turbo kit based off the SPA goods. can anyone tell me what size intercooler i should use. i still want to keep the A/C and the bumper support. anything will help.

Get under there and measure, if somone tells you the wrong size you will be pissed.

what size do people usually use. 6''x22''x3.5'' how does that sound.

best and only way to find out is to drop the front bumper and find out for sure how much room you have to work with... some people run the HUGE 12x30x3's... then some run the 6 x 28 x 3's... you'll just have to measure and see what best fits your needs.
depending on the amount of boost you plan on running... you might not NEED a huge intercooler... but if you are planning on 20+psi.. a larger piece may be better. it just depends on what you want to do -AcId-
