Looks very well made, pricey though. Gotta pay to play.

I'd be interesting to see dyno results of that, FRPP, HTP, SVT, ported 2000 and stock non-2000. Never going to happen...but would be very interesting to see.

Why do you say pricey? The first prototypes was $500 and the final pricing hasn't been set yet. You're not going to find a custom manifold for less than $500.

It looks quality built and also ross machine racing will actually custom make intake manifolds for you my boss has one from them for his MR2 and it's pretty sick I think he paid 450 for it

Will and does is two very different things.

Very cool that someone is stepping out there w/ something the market is lacking and not waiting for people to come to them.

$500 for that is extremely reasonable.

$500 is only the price for the first two that he has made (one of which is mine) Once the production units start, they will be considerably more.

I'll be getting the newer design. One of the reasons for the already re-design is that he wasnt aware of the bolt hole differences between the SVT head and the regualr ZETEC head. So I sent him a regular ZETEC head to do some fabrication with.

Wow. That thing is great. But I'd wait for numbers to come back on a fineshed setup.

And after that, it still won't even fit my car with my supercharger setup...

^^It's a custom manifold so I'm sure he will be able to make some adjustments for you. Personally, if I were you, I'd ask him to put a 90 bend where the throttle body is attached so it can be mounted in a vertical position. That way, you can shift your intercooler about a foot toward the driver's side and have room for a blow-through MAF setup. Ditch the intake piping and run some more boost At least that is what I was planning on doing before I sold the supercharger kit.

OR......you can just ask him to put it in the stock t/b location but I like my first idea better

I've talked to the guys at JayRacing and the dimensions of their intake are really close to the one SuperSnailFab made for me, I expect to see similar results from theirs.

makes no sense to charge MORE once u get the units up and going.

something smells fishy there...as in...oh idk. maybe he is trying to rip us off? i think so.

but everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

true. but. how could a intake manifold jump 2-300$ in price?

do they come with GPS NAV and XM radio or something?

i dont want my manifolds all polished...just coat them flat black and hide them.
