Can you safely run nos and a supercharger on an SVT for something reliable? if so....what type of NOS is safe to run with, dry/wet/brand and how much? thanks..

I would run one or the other, dollar for dollar nitrous is the best buy. I have a wet zex kit, 75 shot. Its power when you want it, and when you want more power the higher power jets cost like 4 bucks a piece directly from zex. if you want to run anything higher than a 75shot, zex recommended a tune.

um. id get it tuned for n2o matter WHAT. even at least log it and watch what its doing.

what are you tuning for, you obviously never worked with nitrous before. with a 75 shot you don't need to retard timing, you don't have to increase fuel pressure, where are you getting your 411 from. if he was going to run a 125 or higher on a 4 cylinder okay i can see the 1 hour of dyno time. for a 75 shot just put on a fresh set of plugs, full tank of 93 octane and do a nice purge and spray till the bottle is out. even if he were to run a 75 shot on a supercharged car, as long as he got it properly tuned for the supercharger, the only other thing he'd need to do is retard the timing 2 degrees more and put a gallon of 100 unleaded when ever he wanted to spray. the nitrous/fuel mixture would actually have a slight cooling effect on the rotors of a roots style supercharger, so that would be an added benefit to produce more power. you don't need to worry that much about a/f ratio's with a wet kit b/c the nozzle is already helping you keep a good a/f ratio going into the motor. and BTW kid it's not NOS, you need to stop watching movies to learn about cars and tuning them. NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide System aka the blue bottle company. they have numerous other companies (ZEX, Nitrous Works, Nitrous Express, Wizards of Nitrous, etc..) out there that would probably rather you not use their kit if you are going to refer to it as NOS. The correct term is nitrous oxide, spray, giggle juice, the juice, the bottle, and laughing gas.

No, it is nitrous oxide with a small sulfur dioxide (ie, xx ppm)... they're not chemically bonded in any way. It is not added as a stabilizing agent, either. It is added as an odorizer and abuse deterrent.
And yes, you can run bottle with a blower. Make sure you have enough fuel pump and make sure the tune is where it should be. If you don't know what you're doing, make sure you're letting a shop who does do it for you. Any knock at that point will be very serious.

not getting cocky just educating you a little before you go tune your car on a faith program or even worse.
Thanks Hocky for clearing up gobstopper's effort in talking about something he never uses. as for gobstopper, you should take a chemistry class to learn that Nitrous Oxide or N2O is the real chemical name and that it's a liquid in it's normal state. it only turns to a gas after a rapid temperture change when exiting the nozzle or getting released into the atmosphere. last thing is that nitrous oxide sulfate would make the chemical N2SO4. this would be a very acidic crystalized liquid/gas which would be even more useless than your comment. "sulfated", "NOS" maybe you should look into taking an english class too. don't forget to change your sig b/c you're not even close to right half the time.

Douche Canoe real sweet. you talk about help and the only thing you do is try to mock me with you NOS crap. you've never even used nitrous on a car but yet you are going to try to correct me when i've been spraying in my cars for over 6 years and still spraying to this day. this is coming from someone who's car has just a few bolt ons. so you take what an "old school hot rodder" said and turned it into a new chemical compound. as for the root being right, sulfate is SO4 which has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of sulfur used in the automotive version of nitrous oxide. matter of fact sulfate is a compound much like nitrous oxide. a little education for you. the word sulfate is for 2 different elements. sulf=sulfur and ate=oxygen. you might wanna write that one down for future reference.
