^depends on the county you live in for one thing. Most counties in PA have emissions now except the middle of nowhere like Perry, Juniata etc... Next, anythings possible with the money I could see a v10 out of an excursion going in there yea. It would be unique but more cylinders dont necessarily mean more power. The v10's in those trucks are big and heavy and meant to be for one reason, towing. If your going to swap something worth while in a focus go v6 or v8. I'd personally like to see someone fit a 390 in.

lol i actually do live in perry county and ive looked up all the laws for emissions in pa it doesnt say i cant put race headers on all it says is that they have to have a way to limit the amount of heat that they give off either through design or a heat shield, and i was just wondering how big of an engine could fit thats all i think a v8 would even be too big but i think seeing one in a focus is just the radist thing you could put in a focus

ive seen an rb26dett in an awd tube chasis hatch focus... so in theory based on the length of a straight 6... and the width of an average v8... you could stuff a v12 in a focus... but... your talking a TON of fabrication to the body/chasis... possibly a full on tube chasis car such as the one with the rb... if you have access to a machine/fab shop and can get the materials dirt cheap... then why not... otherwise... your better have dddeeeeeeeeeeeeppp pockets

Are you running 20psi yet?

500hp in a Focus. At least we know it is possible. Unless you can adjust that wing, it's for looks. Anything can generate downforce but until it's adjusted for the track it isn't going to help your times. Even if it was fixed at 4-5 degree angle of attack it'd be more for high speed driving where less drag is more speed. It looks clean that's for sure. Enjoy!

dyno charts or the car didn't happen. I call bs until verified. it makes 98FWHP until proven otherwise!

You guys need to go back and read.

This thread evolved, but seems to have recently devolved.

The car put down 400-500whp (with chart and video) and he was just easing it on...
