That thing blew through 4th gear like it was 1st.

Also: what crate motor is in there?

Dunno... I figured it just doesn't rev high since it's a V8.

Tobyboom you are correct. That was not a full pull. I was a little excited so I recorded one of the first pulls, instead of one of the last. The motor that is in the car is a 345hp gt40 crate motor. The car made 548 hp, but it still has to go back to the dyno this weekend. Some minor adjustment had to be made to the fuel system.

Man I'd like to do that to my focus, but two problems. One, im in college, two, there does not seem to be a lot of talk about doing to a wagon. I think it would make the ultimate sub-compact, enough room to carry friends and baggage and plenty of power. I miss power

The 548hp is no where the limit of anything in this car except the block. The V8 swap has been done on a wagon before.

Thisis what I had to follow on the dyno. It made 680 hp before it started throwing belts. I'll try to get some better videos this weekend.

not a full pull and getting 548.....

If I were you, I'd start trolling other forums, posting exterior pictures of your car only.....if the hate starts, just throw out glibbly, "it made 600+ hp on the dyno...

when the call outs happen, and they will, underhood pictures and dyno vids should come out right then!

I see you are from NY. Do you have any plan being able to get this inspected and registered? That new OBDII inspection is a PAIN IN THE ASS. Not to mention they link it to your registration. 90-days out of inspection = no registration renewal.

There's gotta be a way to flash the focus ecu to always report the emissions equipment as being 'ready'.
