Whats great is watching squirrels, cats and birds for about a 2 block radius take flight when driving through the neighborhood. It's like sheer terror when they hear something like that passing through.

it's not a DOHC....it's a GT40 302 crate engine

I looked up the specs...it does have a roller cam and rockers, but I didn't see if it had solid or hydrolic lifters.

The big power adder on the GT40 motor would have to be the heads, I know from a factory H.O 302 the GT40 heads net anywhere from 45-55 hp. I'm sure the bottom end is forged as well and probably a lower compression due to factory charger on the GT40?

I already made over 500 hp. That is the limit of the block that's in the car now. Everything in the car was design to double that number. In the winter I'm going to put in a racing block and turn up the boost.

Ahhh, well technically there are emissions in the surrounding countys of atlanta. so they will need to be out in the boon docks!

I have a friend who would probably sponsor this madness! LOL

This car is a piece of art work! Ya know to me, the only thing i think takes away from the looks are the wheels. I am not saying change them or anything but a set of EAP's or the like, would make this car more awesome-er.........

I'm trying to wait until I'm not so busy at work. When I get a chance I'll take a trip to Florida to see if I can get my car registered.

Ya know i am pretty amazed at how quiet it was on the dyno...... I figured something with that kind of hp would be like a jet plane taking off!

^it probably did, the video probably didn't pick it up to well. I could barely stand next to my focus with boost when it was being tuned at about 6500 rpms on a 3rd gear pull w/o holding my ears

it just keeps getting one up'd LOL. When I first joined here there were maybe 100 people or so that were turbo. Probably could count on one hand how many people in PA. Then all of a sudden v8's started popping up. Now twin turbo v8's LOL. Two years ago I had a decent amount of parts aquired for the small block swap, then I lost interest and sold everything. I guess i'll save mine for the 94 escort.

I would love to see some other V8 Focus builds. Any twin turbo kit your friend have is going to need some fabrication.
