Default Re: Duratec vs Zetec Fuel Tank?

When we swapped the svt to a D23, we also swapped in the larger PZEV fuel tank. We ran into some clearance issues running the svt borla kit. The tank will bolt right in, but the fuel pump retaining system is different. We did not look to see if we could swap pumps back and forth.

I am looking to pull my tank out of my 2006 D20 soon to put a baffled unit in that I am working on now. Now sure when this will happen though.

Hope this helps,

Jason

Man, that is desperate! I think that would be the last thing I did to save some weight.

Maybe, but all my mods have to meet with the wifeys approval, She already said no Nitrous and no turbo, so I have to make it light as possible so I dont over work that tiny motor. You should see us trying to pic out wheels LOL

I'm with you on that one.

My advise would to take as much weight out of the front of the car if that is what you are looking for. There are also many other ways to make the car fun. Maybe not fast, but extremely fun.
