Oh also remember the rail sensor doesnt read over atm. So when it logs 40 youre actually getting 40-boostpsi.

Yeah the only time it really becomes a problem is when it's below 30...I remember when I still had the recall pump and the FS/VF supercharger setup I had a quarter tank of fuel and it was only reading 8psi of fuel pressure at 10.5psi of boost it wasn't even detonating it was just hesitating as if it was hitting a fuel cut.

He has been daily driving on 14psi for sometime. He did several 300+ runs the other day when he made the 325 and I am sure before it is over with he will drive it around on that power level.

Today we are putting a diff in the car, so hopefully he can make use of the power instead of spinning.

Anything less than about 35 psi in the rail and you begin to starve cylinders 3&4 of fuel.

The fuel inlet and the sensor are 1 piece. You need to keep the 40 psi to keep the rail filled. Bigger injectors and lower fuel pressure will only make 3&4 fuel starvation worse.

Attach an analog fuel pressure gauge to the end of the rail while the car is on the dyno and you will see.

The biggest thing is when I tried running on the drag radials, I couldnt do a burn out because it would start spinning both but then it was switching back and forth from one side to the other and I was afraid I was gonna break something. So I never got the tires hot enough to make any use of them. I only picked up .05 sec on my 60' but I did best my time running a 13.7 but only at 104mph and a 2.25 60' so I was alittle down on power that night.

What tires where you using? Also, do you have traction bars?

To my knowledge, Jared really hasn't had much wheelhop problems, he can shed some light on that, but he does have motor mounts and traction bars.

The torque biasing will make wheel hop a self-sustaining phenomenon... Each time the torque spike comes through when the wheel hits the ground the diff will deliver more torque to that wheel and make it hop up again.

Where in an open diff you get equal torque to both wheels at all times so you dont get that torque spike to the hopping wheel nearly as much.

i would love to have traction bars but ive heard they dont work with the fs turbo kit.

and it was with 215/40/17 nitto neogens.

i have the dogbone now and 225/45/17 nitto neogens with the torsen t2.. i get much better traction now but if i launch hard, i get crazy wheelhop. and the only reason i have better traction is because of the bigger tires..

the only thing i feel i gained with the torsen is better handling.. much better

Added insurance there will be no hop. but i do everything i run my car with slicks and then soon here i will be road coarsing it. and you can adjust the bar for different events and how they pull. Think of it as like a mini 4 link system

Im gonna get an svt fuel pump to handle the fuel issues.

AH, okay, I was doubting that it was a stock clutch.

That's some impressive power none-the-less.

I've seen someone with our kit and traction bars already. It was a red Focus. One of Massive's customers. I might have pics at the shop. Ask Karl. It was the car that I did unfinished programming for a while back.

hope you dont mind Ja-Red i posted your dyno on FF in Tom's section comparing it to his DIY svt dyno.

just got tired of tom bashing garrett so i figured posting this..

"svt with your turbo kit at 20psi with a comp turbo

stock zetec with top speed turbo kit at 18psi with gt3076r

GARRETT FTW
makes more power and much more torque and spools faster on a car with lower compression and NON SVT internals"

might shut him up.
