this completely changes my plans for what I wanna do with my 09. To bad you guys aren't in the midwest or I'd love to come check it out.

On a sidenote, that's not a brand I've heard of before. I'm assuming it's not a roots style? and how does their stuff do as far as reliability and longevity of the product and motor?

It's a centrifugal type blower. They are a "well known" reliable brand

Reliability and longevity of the motor can be effected by a lot of different things, not just the brand of blower used.

I'm interested in this as well for my 07 ST. Will this be a plug and play kit like the old JRSC's for the zetec?

That totally changes my thoughts on boost. I was going to bag boosting the car but this may have persuaded me to look ito it. I'm really anxious to find out the power levels it will produce. I was looking into getting the f2 turbo kit but I may wait for this.

Very good question. Also, would this be something that me and a few friends could install in a day? Will there be welding involved?

Based upon most kits that i have seen, it will likely be a bolt up kit, a weekend type job + tuning.

So this Supercharger should be safe for stock ATX trannies right?
I'm running an ATX on a 2009 Sedan.

Yes it will be safe for ATX trannies in Stage 1 only...any more power and it won't be safe..

We hope to post pictures of the mock up next week on the Focus and the Fusion if all works out...just recieved a revised idler pulley bracket for the Mazda 3.

This is a priority for us and we intend to keep it that way...

I understand that F2 is working with KraftWerks on this but I have a few questions. 1) Is Kraftwerks going to be the producer of this kit and F2 will be the distributor? Or, is F2 going to be both?
2) How are you going to deal with tuning/support?

Default Re: Supercharger Progress!

F2 is producing the hardware to mount the charger, example...bracket, plumbing, pulley's and pulley layout.
F2 will be the only distributor for it.

Since Stage 1 will be the first we produce and we have to follow strict rules for CARB we are being helped by Kraftwerks on the tuning.

Also this kit will be a plug and play setup, no welding or tapping, you don't even have to drain your engine oil to install it. We are estimating a 6 hour install time and we will have a tech line dedicated for the kits.
