Just hope we get a true CARB exemption and not a perpetual CARB "approval pending" like most of the CAI's.

We will get an EO number as quickly as possible, but we might release it before we get the EO number...

I'm stoked at the prospect of CARB-approved FI. Hoping the EO will extend to my 04 2.3. Thanks for reply.

Yeah? How come? Are you guys gonna get a hold of some type of flasher so that the ecu plays nice with bolt ons and other mods?

We can't what we are working on yet...but we are testing something. And in the next few months we shall have more information...

Yes we mocked up the Mazda 3 bracket and it worked and fit but it was too close to the firewall...a new design in already being done and a new idler pulley setup using 2 pulleys. The belt routing is a lot harder on the Focus than any other car so far...not a lot room.

I will post a picture of the idler setup we are making....

I HOPE its NOT the "blackbox". For this to be worth it, it HAS to be SCT tuned. At least stage 2 on up.

Why not the blackbox...have you used it?
Oscar knows what he is doing and how make things work....he is a bundle of knowledge. And remember with CARB the less you touch the better you are....

And of course anything over stage 1 will have to be SCT tuned....

A new bracket is being designed for the Focus and a dual idler setup as well. Not as much room as in the Mazda 3...

Nice to see this is still progressing for the Duratec guys. If a CARB approved blower kit had been available for them in the last couple years I probably would have bought an ST or a newer hatch to play around with.
