Default Intermittent idle issue, SVT JRSC BBK

I'd say about 50% of the time when I come to a stop in neutral, the idle will be normal, and after 15-20 seconds or so, the AFR will start leaning out and vacuum drops from ~20in to ~10in. The idle gets really low and rough and it tries to die a few times, and after 5-10 seconds the AFR will quickly richen to around 12:1 and everything is back to normal. Then AFR will even out normally to between 14 and 15. Vacuum goes back to normal, as well.

Does this sound like a vacuum issue, or something to do with the tune? I haven't contacted McNews yet; I figured I'd post here first just to see if it might be an easy fix.

Sounds tune related, possibly with the dashpot.

What throttle body is on there? IAC is good working order?

It is something in the tune. Mine does the same thing. It is a timing issue, my timing drops to like 10-12 deg but I cant figure out why.

same here. my JRSC does the same thing. its annoying. but i live with it...

ive heard if u feed it more timing at idle it could help soothe that rough idle...

It seems to be completely random on my car... it was pretty cold this morning and it only did it once, but the idle wasn't nearly as rough as before. I'll give Ray a call.

only thing u could really do. if u know how. forgot if u do or dont. go datalog the car while just putzing around and try to catch it in the act of sputtering and going crazy AFR.s and show it to ray and he should be able to see exactly what the cars doing/trying to do...
