So i just got off the phone with my cam builder and he mentioned he picked up a couple pairs of Zetec blanks for our Triflow2 cams that everyone talks about. He also mentioned that there is the possibility of ordering more and doing a small batch run of an additional 6-10pairs if there is serious demand and 50% deposits laid down!
I know a few of you guys have asked me about getting your hands on a set so here's your chance. they are more expensive than other options but will also make more power, rev higher and still have awesome tip-in and off boost response unmatched by any other FI cam that you can use in a PWSC or JRSC setup. original MSRP was $850cnd/pair + S&H and they are well worth it. I'll let these 2 pairs go for $700cnd shipped each and they can be ready to go in a couple of weeks. if there is SERIOUS interest in getting a batch run done, please post here with your setup details. and if you will put down a deposit. timeline would be deposits in and order place mid fed, cams finished and shipped mid/late March. Price will depend on numbers ordered and of course the price we get on the blanks as we all know, world pricing on things has changed!! Let me know what you guys think!

I would seriously be interested, but my car is not going to run until Spring... If it runs. I can't slap money down until I know that much. I'll watch it on my radar for now.

What's the price range going to be for the batch if we hit the minimum of 6 sets? Maybe I'm better off just trying to figure out how to pay for a set now? I should be able to make either purchase option work
Current: PWSC, stock motor, FS 4-2-1 Header into a 2.5" Borla SVT exhaust. Planned: SVT block, Eagle rods, pistons with CR TBD, Extrude Honed head with upgraded springs (may or may not go oversized on the valves), probably rebuild the compressor as well and possibly get some porting done to it at the same time. Edit: Since this is a cam related thread I'll mention that I've got adjustable cam gears as well.

Put me down for a set Mitch
But I'm sure you already knew that seeing as how I paid my deposit over 3 years ago How much interest has it earned by the way?? ![]() Now are these the "street" or "race" profile???

Wait, there's different profiles? I should just check with Mitch and get him some money so he can get work going on these two sets of cams for us.
Kim - I keep going back and forth on tuning. I'd either work with Randy at FS to get a tune done or get the Pro Racer software to go with my XCal2 and learn to do it myself. I do already have some of the parts for building a motor (block, rods, head, some of the ARP hardware, etc.) so it'll happen in some form or another. I may come to my senses and get a Ford Racing short block and sell the redundant bits (block and rods), though.

there was a grind made for the Automatic PW cars but we dropped that grind when it didn't produce the gains we wanted to see. it clean up the drivability but for the price, it just wasn't worth the gains. those would have been the TriFlow1's.
the triflow2 is a very streetable grind but is much more aggressive than the TF1's and i do suggest springs at least if you want to go beyond the stock redline. we have tested them on stock valve train to 7200 but really do not suggest it. a tune is not required for most cars but again is highly suggested to get the most out of the cams. we used 5 sets of stock cams to get the best possible measurements on the base circles so you shouldn't need to worry too much about ordering different buckets and they should be as close to "drop-in" as you can get. and i don't want to get any hopes up but we are looking into the feasibility of making SVT variations as well.

Kim,
if you want to go with a diablo tuning solution we can take care of that for you up here! Shane, If Charles steps up that's both sets of the blanks we have, beyond that there's interest but nothing firm yet for the small batch" as for price on the small batch, once we get these 2 sets out the door we'll look into the costs of the other batch! the price wont change a lot but there will be a break on them.

I'm interested, but I wasn't really planning on spending more money on my car until late winter or spring next year.

That's kind of the bare minimum for me to even think about this, right. It is what I have, so I guess I'm on the sidelines for this one. Which is probably for the best at this point. But, I'll keep an eye on things if something happens involving SVT-suitable product.

Don't worry, you have one of the 2 blanks already spoken for...
there is only one set left of the 2 blanks currently available, sadly it will become first come first serve. a non refundable deposit can be placed on them, PM me for more details

so it looks like both sets of the blanks are spoken for.
i just got off the phone with my cam builder and he will be calling tomorrow to get an availability on more blanks and a price quote on more blanks. he is also going to look into getting some SVT blanks and the cost on them as well. Also mentioned the interest in some turbo grinds to him and he said no problem! it's a minor change while we are they are in the grinder and wont change the price.
