I love them!! They look good but...
Mazda 6 = IS300 Rx 8 = S2000 They look so much like those cars, but they should do well because of that. |

I like this view... Hmm.......
I would hope Mazda brings this toy state-side. I think it would help bring in the buyers with their check books! Check out: http://auto.ascii24.com/auto24/issue...kf1018_01.html if you want to see additional pics of this beauty! - Jay. ------------------ Drive Hard, Fast and Focus-ed. Anyone know if the RX-8 is going to be priced? I'm guessing ~30K?
Please tell me closer to 25K? |

No, no, the 5-door is actually the sedan! (Sort of like the old Dodge Shadow, but with acres more style!)
God bless Mazda for doing something about the pathetic shortcomings of a sedan when it comes to cargo space. Americans seem to like the sedan shape, yeah. Especially sport sedans. Can't haul anything bigger than a microwave in 'em, but Americans like 'em. So, Mazda sez, why not make a proper sports sedan, except with a hatchback? No visual difference, but infinitely more useful! Thank you Mazda (and Ford, being Mazda's sugar daddy). Let us hope this is a lesson that the US market actually learns! |

No, wait, there are actually separate 4-door and 5-door models... but they're so close, even I did a double-take.
*sigh*. Well, sedans aren't dead. Yet. Viva la ZX5. |

Note to self: Put all new car purchases on HOLD!
I had a Mazda MX-3 GS (V-6) it was a great car. I'd love to get back into a Maz, hey it's still a Ford product! |

powered by Duratec HE
2.3l 175hp S-VT for europe and japan 150hp 2.3 for the US The gen II Duratec V6 with VVT 3.0 219hp, 202ft/lbs of torque. both engines are ULEV2 compliant. most importantly the V6 is cheap to make. expect it to be used in all the normal ford models I am still collecting info. stay tuned. ------------------ Black Focus SE sport WHERE IS MY DURATEC? you have 780,000 all I want is one. The 6 uses the Focus's Control blade IRS. For optimum handling
the rumor is the the next taurus will use the 6's platform. The Gen II duratec V6 will be in the 2003 escape and tribute soon after tin the taurus. ------------------ Black Focus SE sport WHERE IS MY DURATEC? you have 780,000 all I want is one. And there is a wagon. So both are actually be 5 doors, but 1 with sedan body-style and 1 with a tradition wagon/hatch style. |

The blue one is the sedan, the yellow is the five door hatch. The 150 hp four and 219 hp six will both be available here. Check this week's Autoweek. |
