Default 2003 LINCOLN AVIATOR

<blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><hr>
The all-new 2003 Lincoln Aviator offers a distinctive design and athletic performance, along with the most flexible seating, roomiest cabin and best towing capability in its class. Built on a 113.7-inch wheelbase with flexible seating for up to seven adults. It has an advanced dual overhead cam, four-valve V-8 engine that produces at least 300 horsepower, a sophisticated four-wheel independent suspension and available all-wheel drive. It is also an ultra-low emissions vehicle.

The 2003 Lincoln Aviator makes its public debut at the New York Auto Show later this month. The Lincoln Aviator will arrive in dealer showrooms this summer.

hmm, not bad looking, but the interior looks bland and sterile.

Not bad looking actually and I like the interior. It may be an expensive Explorer with a different name, but you dont see any Explorers with a 300hp, 4v motor in them, do ya?

Sorry, but don’t give a rat @$$ what they put in it. We just don't need another SUV, that's all I'm saying. Look at Porches new twin turbo V8 SUV, still sucks IMHO.

the interior looks nice...but still...it's a SUV...you cant take a nice tight turn at high speed in one of those so what's the point?

It looks too much like the navigator in the front. 300 h.p. is nice though.

First Succesful Flight was in 1903 by the Wright Brothers. It is a big thing in Ohio because they were born here 100 years from first flight and Ohio's bicentennial. It is a bigger deal here in Dayton, because they were borne here Ohio's motto on our license plates "Birth Place of Aviation" Well to get back to the Lincoln Aviator...a 2003 model maybe there is a connection. Opps not first in flight...my bad...shows how much attention i pay to my license plate.

Actually, Ohio plates USED to say:

"Birthplace of Aviation"

Now they're the cheesy red, white, & blue bicentennial plates
