but IF you can make the car Perceived as worth more than the competition AND you make it in Mexico, FoMoCo can pocket the extra profit and try do come out of the red, and into the black. Ford just CAN'T afford to "give away" money. Its one thing is the company makes money to maybe be "nice" and pay higher americna wages to high school drop outs, but otherwise they need to make sure THEY survive, and their shareholders (the ones investing money in ford) get paid.

most auto plants don't require a high school diploma, which is why some of those workers fight so hard for the plants to stay open. they CANT get another job with similar pay even if they move. That is why some of them stay in job banks and do nothing all day instead of looking for a more interesting job. I think the auto companies for a wile started letting job bank workers get paid to go back to school hoping they will find another job and quit finally
