Koni Struts

Hey guys its been a while. I dont know if you remember me but i had a thread about warranteeing my front struts. I sent Rafi a video and some pics and i believe I also posted the pics. I sent you guys a copy of my invoice too. Im not saying you guys dropped the ball on it, cause I did..lol. I have just had way to many more important things on my plate with the rebuild and what not. Well its becoming time for me put my suspension back in.

What was happening was one strut decompressed about half as slow as the other when adjustments were equal. It was very noticeable how much slower it would decompress, and how much easier it was to compress than the other, again settings were the same on both..i checked it out a full soft and full stiff, with the same results. There is also what looks like oil all over the strut where the rod goes into the strut. I cannot see any visable leaks. I also checked my other suspension/drive components just to make sure they were not slinging oil on the strut, they were not.


Now my other strut had an issue too. when you adjust it and them compress it oil would slowly drip out of where the adjustment knob spins. This strut is the one that seems to have decent compression, but is leaking oil for some odd reason out of the top of the shaft.

Like i said i know its been months and i kind of just stopped checking up on it, cause of other things going on but i need to reinstall these soon, and would like to figure something out. You guys have been great to deal with and were great when i first brought this to your attention.

Let me know if you still have the photos i posted in the thread and the copy of my invoice from you. If not ill have to dig them up, i know i still have them somewhere.
