I have a '01 ZX3 with the ol'FS LTH, flexpipe, 2.25 exhaust and the salt and dirt of winter just killed them over its 4-5 years of use. I decided to covert to a used SVT header, cat, and flexpipe combo and use FSWerk's 2.5 stainless exhaust to compliment the combo. Do you think this combination well work or well there be issues with the SVT/FS exhaust set up mostly when it comes to the length of the pipes?
Plus I know the SVT exhaust flange is different but the person whose installing this new exhaust set up said he can cut off the flange of the FSWerk's exhaust and weld on a SVT flange in replacement.

You only need to notch the flange holes out, no need to destroy a FSW piece. With a stock SVT cat on a stock head/cam Zetec it should be very tame system, that flows about as good as what you have now. - Drew
