I've been getting more inquiries on superchargers for the SVT in the last six months than I got in the four years previously.

It seems that now that the cars are mostly out of warranty or getting cheaper more and more people want FI for them and of course all the kits are now discontinued.

Judging by the way this kit installs it appears that the only difference would be the TB inlet tube and tha blower mount bracket and tuning of course.

If FSWerks came out with an SVT kit I'd absolutely point everyone that asked about FI this way.

PLus with any luck I'll be in the market within a year or so and I really don't want to get a used kit.

Do you guys have any of the inlet tubes going into the supercharger left you'd be willing to seperate? All I want is an extra tube to work with on mine but don't want to hack up my kit...

I think even if FocusSport offered JUST an SVT mounting bracket to work with the supercharger and left all the piping work to the discretion of the customer, there would still be interest. However, knowing FS, they probably wouldn't want to offer it unless it was a complete kit though.

I going to be ordering this kit in a few days once my wife gets the ECU code. I tried to get a shipping quote but UPS will not deliver to APO's could I get a quote for zip code 09142? Im ordering now so when I get back from Iraq it's waiting for me to throw it on, thanks.

There are a couple other things that hold up the creation of a kit.

Easiest way to make a kit would be to modify the mounting bracket, and then eliminate the VCT. Plumbing to the the TB is also a minor problem.

As I said, if there is truly a will, there is a way, but I dont forsee the creation of a kit for the SVT.

Why does everyone think you have to eliminate the VCT, it's completely independent to itself and wouldn't change at ALL unless you changed the CAMS...
You could toy with it to advance or retard the cam to help create a wider torque/power band...

But, It wouldn't hurt to have options for the SVT crowd.

It might be a clearance issue with the big fat VCT cam gear, the kit is a pretty tight squeeze in there.

If this kit was being redesigned for the SVT, I would put the supercharger facing forward and down so a front mount intercooler can be used and the intake piping can then be easily routed to the SVT throttle body position.
