Default HTPerformance Adjustable Rear Toe Arms

UPDATE July 23th: Group Buy has shipped! We appologize for the delays along the way. Thanks for making this group buy a success.

UPDATE July 7th: QA1 Rod-Ends are scheduled to arrive here early this week. Will update with the shipping info when they arrive.

UPDATE June 2nd: QA1 Rod-Ends are scheduled to ship from their MFG plant to us on June 20th. Plan on shipping out these sets the last week in June/first week in July.

UPDATE Apr. 7th: Our Rod-end supplier did not inform us of a lack of stock of the rod-ends until this past week, we are trying to locate another supplier that has them in stock right now. Otherwise it is going to be an 8-week lead time to get a new order of the rod-ends in stock. I will keep everyone posted with updates.

HTPerformance.NET is proud to introduce a fully Adjustable Rear Toe Arm set! As many Focus and Mazda 3 tuners lower or even raise their rides to maximize performance, caster and camber angles can become skewed and do not exactly match the drivers’ needs. The HTP Adjustable Rear Toe Arm, when correctly installed will allow the tuner to fully adjust rear toe, and may also aid in achieving caster and camber angles desired for performance suspension installations. Other companies make their arms with inferior components such as paper thin rubber bushings that can wear quickly and are prone to dry rot; the use of mild steel alloys is also a terrible mistake when it comes to long lasting performance. Why make an adjustable STOCK arm? It just doesn’t make sense to us.

Here is an excerpt from an article by Sport Compact Car's - Comprehensive suspension tuning guide, that will help you understand the importance of adjusting your toe and how it can effect your driving:
http://forums.focaljet.com/suspensio...ml#post6444334

Production arms:

HTPerformance Adjustable Rear Toe Arms are made with only the best components:

• Our HTP Toe Arms are easily adjustable with a ¾” open-ended wrench

• Weighs less than the stock toe arms

• Stronger than the stock toe arms

• These sexy rods can replace those ugly rusted OEM arms

• Saves time over removing the old bushings, and pressing in new bushings as well as giving you the added adjustability (which gets you out to the track/street sooner).

• Adjustable Rear Toe Arm body is made from Billet 7075-T651 aircraft grade Aluminum alloy; which is much more expensive than 6061 and 2024. It is well worth the added expense for the additional durability and safety through increased strength.

• The Toe Arm body is red anodized to maintain structural performance over the life the part as well as providing a long lasting surface finish.

• The HTPerformance logo has been Laser Marked on the rod body

• High-grade Jam Nuts provide a locking mechanism for the rod which prevents stripping the rod end threads

• 3-piece QA1 Precision Products, Inc. Rod Ends

Ball:
o 52100 Bearing Steel
o Heat treated
o Hard Chrome Plated
Race:
o Stainless Steel
o Heat Treated
o Self Lubricating Teflon Lined (PTFE) – Much superior to grease fittings!
Body:
o Alloy Steel
o Heat Treated
o Protective Coated for Corrosion Resistance

This is NOT an Economy 2 piece mild steel rod end!

• Corrosion resistant 300-series Stainless Steel Spacers keep the rod end centered

Other companies will tell you that their toe arms alone will allow for every adjustment on the rear suspension, but this is NOT true. Be sure to use camber bolts in the curved upper control arm in conjunction with HTP Adjustable Rear Toe Arms and the stock lower arm camber bolts for the maximum aftermarket suspension adjustability.

If you demand the BEST for your ride, HTP is your go-to company!

I'm still on the fence about using QA1 ends.

Is it possible to create "poly mount ends" that can replace one of the ball ends?

Not at the current time. We feel that the QA1 rod ends will provide the maximum performance qualities. Remember that your other 2 arms are most likely still bushing ends.

In other words, the lower arms with the spring bucket on it takes most of the force so as long as that stays a poly bushing, your suspension shoudl still feel squishy

Over 1/4" in both directions safely.

When you install camber bolts, make sure that the washers have not moved other wise you will not get the full adjustment out of the camber bolts.

Honestly, I think you just lost all your "street cred" by buying "CROSS DRILLED BRAKE LINES" lol.

Please do not bother posting in HTP threads if you are just out to give us a hard time. This seems to be something you like to do and is really just a waste of time for everyone.

Do these do camber or just toe? I thought toe was a factory adjustable thing...

The factory settings does have adjustments for mainly camber and minimally toe; however, when you modify the suspension geometry beyond the factory intended settings aftermarket camber bolts/plates etc. are needed to achieve the same settings OR make it easier to tune in your desired specs. The adjustability might be the most important feature of this product for some people because they have gone to aftermarket suspension setups with lowering springs, yet the other performance aspects of this piece such as not needing to go through the hassle of removing factory bushings to reinstall new ones, otherwise you would have to purchase new arms direct from Ford with new bushings as they do deteriorate over time and usage.
