Any word on how this is working yet?? I'd rather have RED if i get one...what sucks i just spent $275 on new tires.............

Wanted to keep you guys updated on the progress.

Here is the latest image of it mated to the head. We are waiting on a date from our outsource partner for the rear fitting delivery. Will update when we have more info.

looking good. can't wait.

while we are all waiting on this rear fitting, i do have a question regarding it. is the fitting being produced as the SolidWorks model shows with the curvature the stock housing has or is the piece more of a conventional straight slip-on fitting similar to the lower front fitting? the prototype shows the fitting as being straight but that could just be for simplistic rapid prototyping purposes.

lastly, any word from the supplier?

Pumaspeed sells a billet t-stat housing in the UK... for nearly twice as much as HTP's.

Looks and quality wise the puma one doesnt compare to the hpt one. I will defenilty support htp a usa company!

Yes, the first unit is currently installed and undergoing testing while we are waiting on the final fitting from our outsource partner.

I haven't heard anything but there's some blemished ones for sale in the appropriate For Sale forum. I wonder if I bought one of those if it'd beat my pre-ordered one to me.

What caused the $50 price jump? I went to the website to place an order and noticed. I could deal with the $250 but $300 is a deal killer for me.

All of the 195F thermostat housings have shipped. The 180F will ship by the end of the week.

These blemished ones will be up on the site shortly for anyone who isn't too particular about appearances, as the first batch is otherwise accounted for.

The $250 was the initial pricing for the intro group... I'll post a link later, you may be pleased with one having just tiny blemishes.

No the Pumaspeed one is not equivalent in price... GBP - $ is currently 1.6:1 conversion ratio. Plus theirs lacks many features of our product.

Hmmm, I never saw anything in this thread or on your website that would have lead me to believe there would be a pricing increase. Also you say intro group, wouldn't the first batch you have made be part of that? I'd love to order one for the initial advertised price, but I guess I will have to buy a stock one if mine breaks.
