um I'm going to have to pass right now on the thermostat housing.

Thats almost $100 more then I thought it was going to be and its not available in black. So maybe when I have that money laying around. And you get it in black or even blue I'll be all over this.

Also where are the pics?

Pricing is OK I think considering the complexity of the part and what you're getting. Any ETA on the pre-order for black housings?

With the cost of the program they used to make this alone makes that 249.99 dollar price CHEAP. Not to mention the cost of materials and coating it... You pay for what you get.

One thing I want to know is, does this use an OEM rubber gasket? I am interested a little bit more about the gasket material. Also, I'll think about it once they are available in black, red will clash with all the work I'll be doing soon.

The gasket materials are made from Viton.

I'm not saying it cost to much. Its just $100 more then I thought it was going to be. So now I have to save up for it. Also TY for adding the Black

Is this the group buy price? If so how much will it be when you start selling it in the store?

I think we are all going to have to save up some money for this. It's better than replacing you stock crappy one every 10k miles though. I would also like to see some pics.

Is this the expected price for purchasing in the future, or is this a special "group buy" price? Nice that it includes the thermostat and all. I could not care less about the color. You should offer only red. Hah. It's your part man. Massive did not compromise on the purple lightweight crank pulley and I doubt the color had much if any effect on purchases of that thing.

Nice I'm loving the rendering. I'm definitely going to buy one (Might be a month or two for me to get the cash for it). But when will you have pics of the real thing?

Yea but the thermostat housing is a lot more visible then the crank pulley. Also I don't want people to first notice my thermostat housing right when they look in the engine bay. Also I have a black and green theme going on. Red would look right out of place.

Any way we can get a group buy on these to bring the price down? I'm sure a lot of people would order then. Any installed pics yet?

This is as low as it goes. Save up or continue using crappy replacement parts... we can't make a housing as cheap as Ford, nor do we produce parts on the scale of hundreds of thousands. We do not want to make parts like Ford either, because their materials process for the original housings obviously is faulty. Look at all of the failures.

As for pictures for the skeptics, you'll have to wait till one of our early adopter brethren to get it installed on their whips. Seem reasonable?

I definitely want one, but I'll wait until I'm done assembling parts for other projects before I invest in this sweet looking piece of insurance.

Nicely convincing looking part!

In reference to VitViper and Stolle:

I appologize for removing your posts.

But if you aren't going to buy one, why post? People should know what they want or need, if they don't want or need it, they aren't going to buy it. I think that is plain and simple.

We heard a need for this product and have responded by stepping up to the plate to deliver.

Please only post if you have questions regarding the product we have developed or would like to order. This is not a thread for non-constructive discussion.

Great job! In these tough economic times it takes balls to test the waters and step up to the plate with a new (and much needed ) product. Does it cost more than a piece of plastic? Sure! But this is the reality of the aftermarket. Performance, durability and piece of mind justify the price. I'd buy a red one just to put on the shelf! Thanks!

Great job. You get what you pay for. As noted by HTP, the OEM design and materials are crappy.

I might try to buy one soon because I'm doing a head swap anyway, so it would be good timing. On the other hand, I'm paying this much for the used head itself, so I might have to put the this on hold for a bit.

Either way, thanks for taking the risk!
