Default Looking for Hi-Quality I-Pod/Zune Harness Adapter to OE Audiophile system

Has anyone figured out who makes a decent "hard-line" harness adapter to plug a Ipod/Zune to their OE 6-Disc Audiophile Sound system?
I want to use my Zune thru my factory system which obivously does not have an input port & I am avoiding the wireless ones where you set the radio to 88.7 frequency. All I seem to find is Metra's kit where it plugs between the Radio & the OEM antenna which you still have to set the radio to a pre-set frequency.
Searching for something that has a processor built-in to send thru the radio CD-quality sound. I tried companies like Periphial & Audio Controls- None.
I even tried looking @ the Ford standard 6-disc Mach Audio system- no such luck.

Any suggestions besides installing an aftermarket Head Unit with ipod/Zune controls.....

there is no free aux input in the back of an audiophile system. if you want your ipod to work you will have to buy an aftermarket unit. if it is a ford 6 disc system with an included subwoofer, it will not be able to accept an aux cable for an ipod. i dunno about the other oem single disc players though.

even though you have to set it to a preset frequency you dont get any static from other stations. IIRC it bypasses the antenna altogether so your HU does not receive a signal at all from it. I think the only reason its 88.7 is because that's the lowest FM frequency. I'm not sure about cd quality but its not bad from what i hear.

You sure? I have an 07, and when I took the head unit out, it still had an extra input jack in the back. I have an audiophile system. Unless your talking about an older audiophile system, then no this wont work.

For the newer 6 disk factory radio's:

There is also an adapter that will control an Ipod at the head unit.
