Guys, will one hcca 10" sound okay. I know this sub is a loud beast, but how would it sound for daily listening in a custom vented box. I have a boston g2 12, and I want to go louder, but stay with a single sub, and I dont think if I went to a g5 it would be enough. This sub is quite a bit less than a 10w7, so im wanting to see if this can be listened to on a daily basis or is it just plain out loud?

if i am correct the HCCA woofer is a competition sub. better have one hell of an amp to back it up. the box design though would determine how well it would work for daily bumping

daily listening for a ported box just means that it's tuned to 35 hz or lower to hit all notes even though the woofer may peak at a much higher frequency.

the 10" HCCA will do fine. a 10" g5 will also do fine. it's your call.
