I need some decent front speakers - Focaljet

I need to pull my door panels to change my door handles and wanted to replace the stock front speakers while I was at it. The passenger side front speaker sounds like a paper bag flapping in the wind.

I have the Blaupunkt factory stereo and just need something that will work well with this head unit for now.

What do you guys suggest? I know nothing about car audio.

and not because they are a site sponsor, but ive been lovin Boston for a long time now. i had sl80 front and s85 rear in my f150 and now they are laying around waiting for me to get not lazy and put them in my focus

I have the sl80 on about 75rms, very clean and warm. Not pingy sounding.

honestly, the $30 rockford fosgate speakers looks like a stellar deal.

the bostons (in my opinion) sound better, but they're also a lot more money.

I have the S85's up front and they are a nice improvement over stock. I would like to upgrade to a higher Boston line, but I've had these for 2-3 years now with no complaints.

check onlinecarstereo.com and woofersetc.com or killer deals. only two places ill shop. unless i find it local, which is rare to find what i want

I was going to order from sonicelectronix.com just because it is a semi-local business (30-40 mins away) that allows pick up.

I may just get the pair juantron posted...looks like a good deal.

i forget which, but one of the links i listed very often has free shipping. could be based on total cost. i was looking at $300+ front speakers and most places do like free shipping over $100 or something goofy. not trying to sell you on them ive just never had issues with either and 9 times out of 10 they are the cheapest. for an actual online retailer, not ebay
