Default Momo wheel, no cruise control... what to do?

Well I installed my new Momo Mod 7 wheel (thanks again Rod!) been driving with it for about 2 weeks and have come to the conclusion that I want my cruise control back.
So I started throwing ideas around and came up with this.
Its made out of 1/4 aluminum plate I had laying around work.
Took some measurements in the car, came up with the design that would have the least interference with my hands as I move them around the wheel, then fabbed it up and painted it black.

Very nice work. Me, I can personally do without cruise control. I hardley ever use it, only on long trips from Michigan to Georgia, but even then, I forget to set it half the time. If only the RS stearing whell came in red, I'd gladly give up my cruise control.

Pics are definitely wanted of this.

If it looks good, you may be able to make a few bucks off it. I'd buy one when I get a new wheel, which is one of my plans for 2005 on my ride.

Default updated: Installed pics.

Heres the installed pics, the paint job looks like [censored], so I plan on repainting it a satin black instead of glossy.
Other then the paint job, im very happy with it. No interference with my hands whatsoever. Although im not sure how this would work with a flat steering wheel instead of one with an offset (like mine). I have a few friends with non-offset wheels, ill try one of them soon.

I thought it was on The Running Man with Schwatzaneger? Hmm, I'll have to watch them now and brush up on my movie quotes.

I am using the Momo hub, but I believe the sparco hub would work also. If you have anymore questions, PM me... I hardly ever visit interior mods section.
