Deadening products like Damplifier and Edead are butyl-based, which perform better than asphalt-based deadeners by weight. Butyl-based deadeners also don't smell when heated up, and don't require foil tape to cover the seams. I doubt I'll be using expanding foam either, just out of preference, but I might consider it later on if I find a real trouble spot.

Thanks!

She eat the other three fingers already?

I'm sorry that was mean.

I'll have more pics soon, but my PC took a dump. I'm beginning to see why people don't like Vista.

I guess I'll be jumping around a bit with these pictures. Here is some of the work I did to the doorpanels... Overkill Pro adhered with 3M Trim Adhesive spray. After test-fitting them like this, I think I'm going to add more to the top area. I wasn't sure if it would fit there but it looks like it'll be ok.

They're definitely a tight fit getting back on the doors now! But the benefit is definitely noticeable.

looks good dude. I am definately going to be doing this as well!

a couple dub friends of mine just did this to their cars. they even took out the headliner and put 2-3 layers of truck bed liner and then sound deadening absolutely everywhere, I'm sure I will be doing the same to my dub come the new year.

You got a decibel reader (or whatever) to do a before-and-after comparison?

Nah, I'm not that hardcore about it. I'm sure I could sludge the underside and double-layer the vibration damper to go all-out, but I just want it to be quieter, not a recording studio.
