OMIGAWD! Euro cloth Recaros on eBay! - The Ford Focus Forum

I can't believe it - I REALLY can't believe it: someone is selling a complete set of the Euro-only, red-tweed-cloth-on-black-leather Recaro seats!

If they were only BLUE-tweed-on-black (DAMNIT!), I'd be on my way to camp outside his door in West Virginia right now!

Anyway, someone with - or wanting - a red/black interior theme is going to be very, very lucky to buy those...

The only consolation I can take from knowing I won't have them is the fact that the MKI Recaros don't really provide enough headroom for me.

But still: DAMINT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT!

I thought about the reupholstering route, but then I'd have to do the door panels and all that crap, too (don't imagine Ford or anyone else has any of that SVT blue "tweed" lying around for sale)...

and yeah, post the link, shouldnt have too much of a problem if any you are helping the other members of the board find cheap stuff, I've done it too.

The owner of Focus Salvage had a set... I wonder if that's him. They're not one-of-a-kind, though... they were optional on the ST170.

(And now I can dream that someone else in the US has a set of BLUE ones in his garage and is waiting to someday put them on eBay...)

I think those are just the SVT ones. The leather goes all the way across the back on the ones next to the Recaro's.

Those are definitely just standard SVT seats next to those ones. As for those seats, wow, that's definitely a unicorn there to find in the US

It's a good thing that I no longer have Rattletrap and that they aren't blue, or else I have a feeling that I'd be jumping in on the bidding war and would be making a road trip

^^ Not friggin' fair - shoulda been optional for all of us (no, I don't particularly like the all grey/black leather EAP interior - too dreary).

That actually pisses me off more than the fact Jost Capito gets to drive a MKII.5 RS around stateside.

Bitchin. Only thing I dont like about that (at least the standard SVT) cloth is that it stains so easily... If you let some of the condensation from you Big Gulp drip down it looks like you spilled your seed on em...
