Default Which Coilovers to switch to??

Leo my buddy and I talked to you this morning with my Ground Control Coilovers.

I want to switch coilovers in the front so I can run your plates. Any suggestions on what I can use with my Koni's??

I really like the way the Ground Controls work but want to run your plates.

Are you switching the front struts? What do you use the car for?

I want to stay with the Koni's if possible.

It is a daily driver and AutoX car.

I am running the Koni Yellows all the way around with the Ground Control Coilover kits now.

Did you cut the spring perch of your koni? If not, just get the h&r race spring. If you did cut the spring perch I think ground control is your only option.

If you want new coilovers then KW make some really nice stuff.

I heard that Koni's (even with spring perches) and the Ground Control Coilovers won't work with your camber plates, Leo.

Can you give me an engineer's explanation as to why? I am considering switching to GCC maybe next year, but only if they will work in conjunction with some good camber plates.

John

The top of the ground control spring is much smaller than a standard spring setup.

The top of the GC will not seat well in Leo's plate causing a the strut/spring to possibly slip off the plate when unloaded on an opposite corner manuver.

In other words, you hang a hard left and the right front strut/spring could slid off the plate and off center causing some problems.

OK, then Leo, do you plan on making plates that fit Ground Control Coilovers within the next year?
