Question Need a bit of help

I want to make sure I have my LCR camber plates installed correctly before I put them on the car. These are being pared with H&R height adjustable struts.

There seams to be a gap between the new adaptor strut plate and the camber plate. Is this normal or have I assembled it wrong? Now I don't have the spring under much tension, just enouf to assemble it and keep everything inplace.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Well after looking at a bit more and comparing it to the one I don't have installed. I don't think the adaptor sturt plate is seated properly into the new lower collet. Because of the angle of the upper spring plate the adaptor plate donen't want to sit flush with the lower collet just yet. I am hoping that when it get more tension on the spring it will level out and seat properly.
