I have a couple here >> http://photos.paulhaskew.com/main.php?g2_view=core%3AShowItem&g2_itemId=2627&g2 _page=5
Please ignore the fact they seem off, there are no axels on the car at the moment...

Did you have to cut into the body? I was reading that you had to. I wonder how adjustment is done and if there is any difficulty getting to the adjustments once the strut assembly is in. Thanks for the pics!

No cutting of the strut tower required, they just bolt in like the stock top mount and bearing.
To adjust, you just loosen the 3 bolts on top and slide the strut/spring assembly from below - best done with the tire off the ground.

Thank you for the pics. How do you like the plates? With Eibach Sportlines, would these be the best way?

Is there any limit on the type of suspension you can run, or does it add any ride height??

I have seen the SPC and K-Mac. They put the the strut at funny angles that puts additional stress on it. I have heard of one strut shearing the top where they went throught the plate. The SPC/K-Mac will also alter caster as well as camber. I didn't think I needed to mess with caster. I like the fact that the LCR plate has a bearing what the strut is bolted thought and keeps the strut centered on the spring.
As far as adding height, I don't know excatly. I think it does add a bit but I added the plates the same time I installed my H&R Coilovers.

The LCR plates don't add any height, they are basically a direct replacement for the oem top mount and bearing.
SPC is junk. K-Mac is similar to the LCR plate but they are from australia. LCR is USA and is one of the main forces behind the spec focus series and focus racing in the US. Who do you want to support?
