I'm not sure if all are the same but the v3 had a different thread pitch and Leo made different top nuts.

Make sure the rear spring plates are in right, they have a habbit of falling out when really low, my mate lost his on his lupo so now just ahs the coilover.

I would not recommend LCR plates with the KW Coilovers... it will cause some really nasty coil bind.... speaking from experience.
I'm a month late, but hopefully not too late. ![]()

I actually picked up a used pair before I even posted this and they aren't installed yet. Is it possible to modify the plates to avoid the bind?

The problem is that the position of the strut top relative to the position of the upper spring seat changes enough that when set within the KW "acceptable" range you get bind.. so in order to avoid it, you'd need to lower the car way down.
One problem is that the default fitment is the set the upper spring perch on the plate isn't really meant to fit the KW, it is meant to fit a stock upper spring, so there is some added thickness there. If that were altered to remove that thickness, it just might work. They're a neat design, they're just not KW-compatible off-the-shelf.

Hey since you bought these from me PM me I have my front H&R coilover springs that will work with stock front springs hats. I think you can use it with your front KW coilovers.
the rates are very similar so I don't see any problem there. LMK

I installed the LCR race plates with KW V1's. The car is pretty low and did not get any "binding" until I set the camber to -2.8. It seems that "top hat" rubs against one of the 3 bolts that hold the plates and coilovers to the car. The car will be going on the hoist in the next week to see exactly what is going. If I can figure out what it is and how to fix it.. I will be happy with the LCR plates. Quality craftsmanship and lots of adjustment..
