Default oem rs parts...

now that a majority of people have purchased the rs body parts from your amazing deal, are there any plans to stock the other odds and ends to help your customers complete their builds?

hopefully some of the other guys in our rs discussion thread will chime in on what they need, but i know some of the items everyone seems to need are:

front splash shields
rear splash shields
upper grille
lower grille
side skirts
front bumper side vents
fog light assembly

then of course for those who purchased the rs suspension package and would like to complete it, we are in need of:

rs wheels
rs calipers

i'll see if i can get some more people in here to respond. but here is a link to our thread:

Certainly as the head count of OEM RS replica-type builds grows there will be an increasing need to track down other parts to complete the cars. I believe there are currently 6-8 of us that are building, with many more parts and projects popping up all over the US.

If you were able to supply us with any available parts you can grab up in bulk, I'm sure I speak for many of us in that we'd buy one set to immediately go on the car, and most likely another as spares or backups as well.

It was great meeting you in Michigan a few weeks back. The truck was packed up pretty tightly with the RS interior and the bumper box full of goodies, but everything made it back to Missouri in one piece! Haha, but you were right, I should get a larger truck Thanks again for letting me check out your warehouse, you have an amazing racing team/facility!

I'd argue that the exterior trim pieces, because they are the SAME relative dimensions and material as the US-spec ones, should just be purchased new from a dealership and cut to match the angles/curves of the widened rear quarters. Like in the picture above, buy two of the longer zx3 trim pieces, and use them on the other side after being cut to match the new RS body line of the welded on rear 1/4 panel. Just be careful cutting, because those trim pieces are hollow except for around 3inches near the tip... But certainly the other items listed would need to be sourced from afar

Bottomline, there is certainly a market for any RS parts you can find, especially given the introduction of so many OEM RS projects.

My list would include:

front splitters
headlights
engine/drivetrain
upper grille
lower grille
hardware mounts for front and/or rear bumper

I too am looking to buy, I should say GOING TO BUY:

Side skirts
Inner fender liners/panels front and rear
Upper and Lower grills
Vents for bumper
Lights for bumper
Hardware mounts for bumpers
Reinforcements for rear bumper
Fog lights and trim
Repeaters for fenders
Splitters for front bumper
Tail lights, and sockets
LHD,RHD Reverse or fog + sockets

But need a response to know if you're planning on doing this soon!..have a standing order waiting on money ($4142.00)to be wired. You could be profiting from our demand for this stuff.
