i ordered mine on the 22nd and still nothing here as well. i was told things are falling apart at saleen. i was thinking it would take an extra week since its being drop shipped from cali but still nothing.

Sorry guys. Right now we are at the mercy of Saleen on these kits. They have the components, but they just are not keeping up with the demand for us. Typically we would get 10-20 shipped here at a time and then ship them out personally. But lately we have been moving so many kits that we have had to start having saleen drop ship the kits.

Unfortunatly they do a poor job dropshipping these for us. I am going to hound them for more info when they open up today.

I got my kit last Thursday and I ordered on May 21st, so everyone elses should be coming.
The set up is nice, huge improvent in cornering over stock. Ride feels like my dads '08 vette, stiff but soaks up the bumps. I have noticed that my camber is a little off now, but that can be remedied with some adjustable bearing plates.

yeah i am by no means blaming massive for this problem. its just sucks because they said life moves fast in california, just not at saleen. they better be glad im not in the market for a Mustang or I'd by a Roush just based on this experience with them.

what did you guys do with the alignments

Nothing yet. I didn't mess with the tie rods so as far as tracking straight the car is still spot on. The only thing I noticed about it after the install is that the top of the tire is pointing inward a little more than it use to. I will probably get some bearing plates to remedy the problem and get it aligned eventually. It isn't really an issue to be all to concerned with for now.

does the kit come with new strut bolts? i haven't got i my kit in yet and i was looking in a focus book and it said to always replace the strut bolts after you take them out? idk if its something that really need to be done

The kit comes with no bolts. It is not a bad idea to replace them when you do your install, but as long as you can still get a good clamp with the existing bolt you'll be fine. The manual wants you to replace them because of possible stretch, but I didn't replace those when I did mine. I did have to replace all the other bolts though. Dang, MI winters pretty much seized up all the bolts and I didn't trust how much grip was left on the original heads, in case I ever had to take them out again.

well i believe everybodys card was charged. if it wasnt you wouldnt be able to get it drop shipped since they didnt have any. shoot em another email or PM k stylez. they do get busy and sometimes emails may be forgotten.

Thanks Rosko, and yeah, I know how business works... I just figured that an order placed (almost) a month ago might be further along than this. When I phoned, the kit was in stock. I was originally told I was waiting on the strut bar I added. I have the same faith in PM as I do email, and that is why I am posting on here. I will say again, I have read so many good things about Massive, and received great service over the phone. I know they will come through at the end of the day!

yeah i know whatcha mean, i had other parts ordered from other places that have already arrived and been put on. but like i said im not blaming massive for any reason, but it does make me wonder how saleen does business if this is how they treat their customers regardless if they are owned by someone else now.

Some of it has to do with this being a close out item. I don't think they are taking it serious. But the good news is they have confirmed getting kits out yesterday and today. We should be emailing out the shipping info for some kits on monday. Lets all keep our fingers crossed.
