Default ***NEW PRODUCT - Massive Competition Stress Bar - Duratec***

For Duratec Focus 2.0 & 2.3 03+

The Focus has always had a reputation as a fun to drive, decent handling car right from Ford. However, under hard core driving situations, more chassis rigidity is neccessary. By tieing the top of the vehicle's strut towers together, we find decreased deflection under load, improved steering response and superior weight transfer in the corners.
NEW for 08': Massive Competition Series front strut tower braces are meant for more than just beauty - they feature big 12 gauge mandrel bent steel tubing and heavy duty fully boxed mounting flanges for the ultimate in strength (others are using dinky 14 gauge tube and small 2 bolt flanges!). This far more solid construction has earned it the "competition" name.
Simple install in less than 15 minutes with basic hand tools. Quality made in the USA. Comes with premium thickness powder coating for long lasting service in your choice of Black, Red, and Metallic Silver. Brushed aluminum vinyl Massive logo so people will know you use the best.

It looks to sit a little further from the battery cover than the focus central bar I have. Can you remove the battery cover with this bar installed?

Do you know of anyone that's fit this bar to a ZETEC focus with a PWSC on it? I want to double check under my hood but from the looks of that picture it should be ok. Only questionable spot I could see is the components around passenger side tower.

Yes, we have fitted it to PWSC cars. No fitment issues. Tight - but fits.

BTW - this is in the Duratec bar thread, so the bar pictured is not the Zetec bar you'd receive.

I'm asking about the Duratec bar on a Zetec/PWSC car. I'm looking for something that gives more clearance from the firewall then a standard Zetec bar. I've got a MAP sensor for a boost gauge and an oil seperator to put on a bracket the firewall. The Duratec bar looks like a better bet than a Zetec bar that's designed to clear a the MAF to TB tube (thus has a bend that goes towards the firewall) that I of course don't have.

That exact setup I cant verify. I do have a PW car in the shop right now so I might try later, but I recall the Dura bar not clearing the Zetec fuse box or something...

I looked under the hood and it looks like there will be issues with the power steering fluid reservoir. Let me know if you find otherwise. I'll either have to custom make a bar or try to find a different Duratec bar that clears everything.
